The Black & Brown Podcast Collective Announces the “Podcasters of Color Diversity Grant” Powered by Tito’s Handmade Vodka
--
New York, NY — The Black & Brown Podcast Collective, the emerging media and technology platform supporting and resourcing podcasters and content creators of color, teamed up with Tito’s Handmade Vodka to provide financial support in the form of a microgrant to podcasters of color. The “Podcasters of Color Diversity Grant” will award podcasters of color who are actively sharing content that positively represent the experiences and narratives of persons of color. The “Podcasters of Color Diversity Grant” results from an initiative created by The Black & Brown Podcast Collective to encourage diversity and inclusion in the podcasting industry.
As many of our podcasters have been affected directly or indirectly by the COVID-19 pandemic, it is the hope of The Black & Brown Podcast Collective and Tito’s Handmade Vodka to support podcasters of color through this tumultuous time. It is also the hope of both The Black & Brown Podcast Collective and Tito’s Handmade Vodka that this microgrant can encourage podcasters of color to continue creating impactful content during this time.
U.S. based podcasts led by a person of color must be an active podcaster and a member of The Black & Brown Podcast Collective. Podcasters may sign-up to the free platform at www.bbpodcollective.com.
